Dr. Paul Malone

The goal: Empowering you to attain the life you truly want and deserve. I have loved my work for over 30 years and have been empowered in return by witnessing the growth and remarkable accomplishments of my clients.

My personal quest is to discover those things that truly cause our experience of life. Much of what I feel confident about comes from discovering the plasticity and adaptability of us humans in overcoming incredible "obstacles" to happiness. One example is of a girl who had been repeatedly raped by her father from age 2 to 4. I was priviledged to work with her in therapy and at age 8 she was selected by her classmates and teachers as the student with the best self esteem in her class. Recalling the incredible resiliency and adapatability of this remarkable little girl still brings tears of gratefullness for having met her.

Significant professional achievements:

1. Authored and co-authored several articles concerning "Personal Authority in the Family System" and related therapeutic approaches in individual, couples, family and group therapy.

2. Co-developed one of the largest parent education programs which provided some of the most important, long term evidence of the benefits of parent training on child development. Was co-principal investigator, the developer of parent education and child development materials, and trainer-of-trainers for the national R&D program.

3. Helped to start and develop the Pain Control and Biofeedback Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine, and was the chief psychologist for the program for seven years. Made numerous presentations of techniques used in pain control at national medical conferences.

4. Conducted weekly pro bono, volunteer groups for Vietnam veterans for five years.

5. I founded and directed Psychological Services Group in Houston, Texas, a private practice group providing psychological services at five office with 27 employees. I have a reputatuion for being highly ethical and dedicated to quality service to all clients. I closed my practice in 1995 to pursue applying what I had learned to business.

6. Managed, with P&L responsibilities, two technology development companies for 12 years. Developed good understanding of the demands of being an entrpreneur and how to adjust to ever changing markets. Sold my share of the companies and resumed my practice of psychology.

Current Activities:

I am now dedicated to discovering and establishing "a better way" to serve people via the internet to help them achieve the life they truly want and deserve. I provide online therapy for clients in Texas and coaching to clients in all geographic areas. I also offer coaching to business people and entrpreneurs to help them find a better way to run their business so that it is highly successful and contributes to people rather than uses them up.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of Texas and recognized by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
